This was part of our random visits to various homes to hang out with the kids and also to donate food items and toiletries.

CHARITY PROJECT

DSF has adopted Mawuse Care Centre to support them with their basic needs. The center which is located at the outskirts of Akuse has about 270 children. They were food items, toiletries, clothing and drinks.

VISIT TO MAWUSE CARE CENTER

 

We visit the Centre every three months to do a follow up on developments and support them with food and health screening as well.

CHARITY PROJECT AT WEEP NOT CHILD FOUNDATION, NSAWAM

We donated water reservoir to help solve issues with water and food items.

OUTREACH PROJECT

This is an outreach project to reach out to the people of Asikuman Odoben Brakwa communities in the Central region during the commissioning and handing over ceremony of 6-unit classroom block by Goldkey Properties. We organized health walk, gave a talk to sensitize the community on various health issues and free health screening with the support from the community hospital.

A DAY WITH THE ORPHANS PROJECT

An annual hang-out initiative by the team to engage the underprivileged kids on the streets and care center to build their capacity. Activities included health walk, health education on teenage pregnancy, free health screening, talent show, dancing competition and dine together. This particular event took place at the forecourt of Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.

PROJECT (INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY)

This event was organized by BlindAid Ghana Foundation and DSF to  celebrate all persons with disabilities on the streets at Children’s Park, Accra. There was free health screening, eye test and medical consultation, talent show, dancing competition and as well dine with them. There was open forum for data collection to advocate or their challenges in life.

This is a party organized at the end of the year to hang out with the orphans at Mawuse

Care Center, Eastern Region. DSF in collaboration with Felix Motors donated items to the center.

This is organized at the end of the year to hang out with the orphans at Mawuse Care Centre, Eastern Region.DSF in collaboration with Felix Motors donated  30 School desks, stationery,  clothes and foodstuff to the Centre.

As part of our ongoing international projects, we made a visit to MALAIKA ORPHANAGE and donated foodstuffs and branded DSF stationeries.

Strength comes from within. Therefore, it is a need for one to constantly check his system for the slightest symptoms. As an NGO we sponsored GHone TV Cheers health walk on June 22, 2019 and provided health screening free.

 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

 

As part of our partnership program with Street Aid Girls on their 25th Anniversary Celebration, we provided free health screening (malaria testing, blood pressure and sugar level) for the in-house girls and the residents of Kimbu.

With honor, the Director of Operation accepted an invitation from Masterpeace Morocco to speak at a 2019 Africa Youth Leadership Summit held in Zagora, on the topic; Sustainable Development

EAST CANCER AWARENESS CREATION AND BREAST SCREENING PARTNERSHIP WITH STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY OF GHANA- MAKOLA MARKET ACCRA

The breast cancer team of University of Ghana as part of their course project in the breast cancer awareness month, partnered with us to provide breast cancer education and screening for the Makola Market women.

4th Edition Xmas at Mawuse Care Center

We had a two day Xmas celebration with over 300 children between the ages of 1 and 16 at Mawuse Care Center. The activities included; breakfast, lunch, dinner night, health screening and skill training for about 30 women in shampoo, soap and drink making.

Our 2020 Projects

DONATION AT MALAIKA ORPHANAGE

Members of the Dream Shapers Foundation paid a visit to Malaika Orphanage in Hillbrow, Johannesburg – South Africa to complete the second phase and final philanthropic assignment at the Orphanage as part of the international activities of the Foundation. During this visit, the children were educated on Artificial Intelligence and some food items were donated.

STRESS FREE SUMMER

The Coordinator and Sponsorship Head, Richard M. Mensah was honored to be selected as one of the facilitators globally for the first ever global Stress-Free Summer Festival organised by MasterPeace Global and World Peace Initiative by Peace Revolution. He facilitated the workshop in the capacity of; 2018 Ongacious Jollof Recipe National Winner, Former Cooking Show Host and Producer and a Self-Cooking Advocate where he spoke on how the art of cooking can help reduce stress. DONATION AT PUPUNI AND MCCARTHY KOPE

First project to be organised by the group in the name of Dream Shapers Foundation and

MasterPeace Ghana in response to Covid-19. 1000 nose masks and hand sanitizers and 100

Storybooks were donated in McCarthy Kope in the Shai Osudoku District and Pupuni in the Asuogyaman District, all in Ghana. There was also education on the preventive methods of Covid-19. Media channels that helped to carry out the story were: Class Fm, Graphic, GBC, Vision 1 FM, Ada Radio and Ghana News Agency.

The Emerging Entertainment Awards

 

The Operations Director and Medical Head of DSF were honoured at the first edition of The Emerging Entertainment Awards among other Celebrities as Outstanding Humanitarian Personality and Outstanding Health Personnel respectively.

TOPKO

In preparing for the 2020 December Relief program, the team visited Tokpo in the Volta Region of Ghana to conduct the final feasibility studies. Together with this, some nose masks, hand sanitizers and exercise books were donated.
